Heartbeat!!!

We went to the doctor today for my 12 week checkup. Everything looked good according to the doctor. We got to hear the hearbeat today so I wanted to share that with you all!!! ( Sorry about looking bad!!! I don't like to wear makeup unless I am going out.) The doctor said that the heartbeat was at 160. It was really neat hearing that something really is living inside of you. I have not had any weight gain but the doctor said that it will come. My blood pressure was great and all the tests came back good!!! Our next doctor's visit is January 27th. She said that more than likely we will find out what the gender is!!! I am really excited about finding that out. We really don't have a preference because we will have more than one child. I am so excited to meet him or her!!! Just wanted to keep you updated.

Christmas Time is Here!!!

Santa brought Baby Morgan a stocking this year!!! It had a bear, a cute duck outfit, 2 books, and some links!!! It is really exciting to think that our child will be about 6 months old next Christmas!!! Christmas was perfect this year. I had my brother, Nicole, Aunt Lisa & Uncle Pete in town. It was great to hang out with everyone. I love spending time with family during Christmas time.

I have a little pooch now. It is not a whole lot but I can tell and so can Eddie. He likes to rub my belly already! I am slowly starting to not fit into any of my pants. I still have 2 pairs that I can wear. I will be 12 weeks tomorrow!!! First Trimester will be over!!! Hopefully I will get back some of my energy. I feel like an old woman not being able to stay up late. New Year's Eve is coming up and I am just praying that I can stay up till Midnight to kiss my hubby!!! I am going to the doctor on Tuesday so I will have an update then!!!

Just the Way I Feel

I have been feeling fine lately. I am still tired most of the time but it seems to be getting better. Before I would just fall asleep watching TV with Eddie but I can actually make myself stay up now. I also have a craving for Bread. My favorite is the little Hawaiian Rolls... Just add butter!!! I love Subway because of the bread. I eat toast for breakfast!!! I haven't really had THE CRAVING yet. My friends tell me that you will know when you have THAT craving. I started wearing some maternity pants. Some of my other pants don't fit. I cannot tell whether it is bloating or baby. Either way at times I feel like the Cream Puff Guy and other times I just feel like me. Whoever invented Maternity clothes is a god!! They are the most comfortable clothes in the whole world. I have been trying to look nice at work since I am going to be as big as a house. But when I get home it is sweat pants and T-shirts though!!! I have gained about 3 pounds so far so I am hoping that it is a good weight gain and not a bad one! We go back to the doctor on the 30th to listen to the heartbeat so I will find out then if my health is good. My brother and his girlfriend Nicole are coming in town today and I cannot wait to see them. I think that secretly my brother is excited about being an Uncle!!! My Aunt Lisa and Uncle Pete are coming in town on the 23rd. I am excited to see them also. I know that my aunt is excited about meeting the baby as well!! There is not way to explain how excited my family is!!! My mom screamed and my dad cried when I told them. Jared is excited and Barbara told Dad... I told you so!!! Having the first grandchild is an exciting thing. Cannot wait to enjoy time with my family and friends over the Christmas break. I took off for 5 days for some R & R and to hang out with family that I don't always get to see. I really needed some time off to just relax.

Lola

Just wanted to show you what a "Santa Paws" looks like!!! Lola did not mind taking pictures or keeping her hat on because Eddie had treats!!! Lola has been funny around me. She sniffs my belly. I guess she knows that something is going on in there. I think that she will be great with the baby. I cannot wait to see them together to see how she acts. She was good around Pyper. She just wanted to sniff her a lot!!! I figured I would keep you guys updated with the whole family.

Update on Baby: I really have not felt pregnant! I guess that is a good thing but I am sure that I will feel pregnant in the dead of Summer!!! I started wearing some maternity pants only because they are comfortable. I can still fit into most of my pants but they are getting a little snug. I will send a preggo picture once a month starting on the 12th week.

Cry, Cry Baby

Well I got my first taste of Hormone changes this weekend. Eddie left to go the camp with the guys and I was trying to clean up the house for the Bonne Vivantes Trolley Ride. Well, I dropped a plate a broke it! That set it off because then I just starting throwing things around the house until I just broke down and cried. I could not stop crying . Why was I crying? Then it happened again on Sunday. I could not stop crying in the morning. I had to get things ready for Westbrook's baby shower, I needed to get get it together. But I couldn't!!! I walked through Walmart almost crying because a lady was mean and took my parking spot!!! ( What has gotten into me?) I went from mean to crying in like 1.2 seconds!!! I guess since I am not experiencing the morning sickness, I get the hormone rage instead. I think that I would rather have the hormones than to be sick. So if for some reason I am just not myself, just know that I might be having a hormonal day!!!

Meet "The Gummy Bear"

Meet our new addition to the family!!! It is official now!!! At least that is what I say. It is a miracle to have a human growing inside of you. I would have to say that it is an amazing feeling. Eddie and I got to see the little heart beating but we did not get to hear it this time. Next time we will though. They just took blood, which was a pain because they said I have little veins. Eddie says that I had ice water in my veins!!! (He is a jokester) They also took a family history and let us ask questions!!! You know that I had a lot. We are really excited and cannot wait to find out what the sex is!!! We should find out at the end of January. I cannot wait to see the baby as a human and not a gummy bear.(Thanks to Aunt B we kept that title until he or she gets bigger.) I don't know if you can see or not but he/she does have some arms and legs starting to grow a little. I will keep you all updated!!! Thanks to all the support from friends and family. You will truly make this a special time for us!!!

We are Pregnant!!!

We are pregnant!!! We had our first doctor's appointment on November 19th to confirm that we were in fact pregnant. I was 6 weeks pregnant at the time so they just checked me to make sure that I was and the next visit they will do all the poking and proding!!!
