One Month Old!!!

I cannot believe that our little man is a month old already. We went to the doctor yesterday and he weighs 10lbs 14oz and is 22 3/4 inches long. He has gained a pound a week!!! He should with how much he eats. Hungry Hungry Hippo!!! This outfit that he is wearing in the picture is what we bought for him to come home in but he did not fit into it so he is wearing it now. We love it!!! Everything is going well. He is sleeping in his own bed and knows that nighttime means sleep!!! Thank god for that... But his stomach has been hurting him today so his has been pretty fussy all day long. You have to take the really good with a little bad every now and then. No baby is perfect but Fisher is pretty close!!! (Coming from us)

Updates from the past week

Fisher is now a big boy and sleeps all night with about 3 to 2 hours in between in his pack-n-play now. He used to sleep with mommy all night long on her chest but we had to break him of that!!! I hated to do it but with me going back to work in a month it had to be done. He is a really good sleeper and we are excited about that!!! He stays up about 3 hours during the day. Some days longer than others. He loves to be outside and hear all of the nature sounds!!! We are excited that we have an outside child. We love to be outside as well. Here are some pictures to share with you all!!!My grandma on my dad's side "Na-Na" used to go to the Isle of Capri when it first opened and would bring us back T-shirts and such that said "Go Bananas" on it... Well we found a shirt for Fisher that says "Go Bananas"... Nannie would be proud!!!
Fisher loves his daddy!!! They have special Father-Son time after work and give mommy a break for about an hour. They walk around the yard and talk about things!!! His little outfit says "Daddy's Little Helper". It has tools and such on it.

He is such a cute child with a wonderful personality. He does 2 things that we just cannot wait to hear him do all the time. One - he yawns then he will make a cute little sound and then show his dimple. The second is sometimes when he sneezes he will make a cute little sound after it!! Daddy and I love this one the best!!! This is him coming out of a sneeze!!!

1st Bath

Fisher got his first bath last night!!! We were so excited that his belly button cord fell off so he could have a "big boy" bath. He liked it at first thanks to Great Grandma Gail's present. After he realized that he was not getting any warmer then he got really mad. He smelled so good!!! Just wanted to share the first bath pics with you guys.

Update 3 weeks old...

Well, I am still sleeping on the couch with the little man. We are going to try and get him to sleep in the pack-n-play this week. He has been sleeping really good anywhere from 2 to 3 hours at a time at night. We have been trying to keep him up during the day as much as we can so he will sleep at night. He is a really good sleeper with me but when it comes time to put him in bed he does not like it. We are going to try a couple of different things this week to get him into the bed at night so I can finally sleep in my own bed after 3 weeks. He has found his crying voice now so when he wants something he screams instead of cries. Hopefully that will go away soon. His belly button just fell off today so we can finally give him a big boy bath instead of a sponge bath. I will show you pictures tomorrow of the first bath. Until then... He is crying!!!

Class Reunion Time

So I had my 10 year class reunion this weekend... Man how time flies!!! Anyways when we were in high school the me and the girls above had a "Click" called the Mag 7. Well as you can see we are all accounted for except one. We had a great time talking about the trouble that we used to get into!!! I got an award for having the youngest child. Eddie's mom watched him on Friday night while we went to the Shed for an hour and then my mom watched him Saturday night. I hated to leave him at all but I really needed some adult sanity!!!
As you can tell it was a beautiful night for the reunion with perfect weather and great friends!!!

18 Days Old

We went to the park for our class reunion on Saturday and Fisher just loved being outside. I had to share this picture with everyone!!! I love him!!!

The Bond Family came to visit

Chris, Tabby, Conner & Colt came to visit last week after I had a meltdown. I am currently breastfeeding for anyone that does not know. He is very successful at breastfeeding and it just got to be a little to excessive last week because of his growing spurt. The doctor said that it would happen. Also, my milk was not fully in last week so he was taking everything that I had.
Tabby is a NP and came over with some pointers and just a fellow mother to talk to that was having the some of the same problems that I have been having. Colt will be 3 months on the 24th so Fisher has a wonderful little friend to get in trouble with when that time comes. Things are better now that my milk has come in. Breastfeeding is hard but I cannot explain the bond that I have with my child.

Sorry!!!

This will be a quick post. We have not had our internet for about 2 weeks now so it is hard to get out and get things posted with a little one. We are changing over companies today so we should have the internet within a week. I will promise to update tons of pictures and firsts when I get a chance. He is doing well and we are just trying to get sleep when we can. I promise to update as soon as we get our new internet!!!

12 Days Old

I love him!!! We have decided that he looks just like me when I was a baby. Mom brought over my baby pictures and even his personality is just like mine!!! God help him!!!
Daddy is so funny... He wanted me to put on his glasses!!! We are celebrating because this was hopefully the last trip to the hospital for his jaundice test. It has stayed around a 10 so we are hoping that we don't have to go back!!!

On one of the many car rides to the hospital to get tested. He loves to be in the car and he will just look around checking everything out that he sees!!! He is already such a smart boy!!!

Happy 4th of July

Just wanted everyone to see his cute 4th of July outfit that his Aunt Lisa sent him!!!

1 Week Old

So we went in for his one week checkup on Tuesday and the doctor said that he was perfect. When he left the hospital he was 7lbs 6 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. When he went in he was 7lbs 14 oz and 20 3/4 inches long. He had jaundice so they sent us home with a bililight. He hates it!!! He is breastfeeding really well!!! That was one thing that I wanted to be able to do and he LOVES to do it!!! He sleeps and eats whenever he wants to which is fine with me but we are going to try and get him in a routine in a couple of weeks so I can get ready to go back to work at the end of August. We love him and we thank everyone that was there to help with anything that we needed!!! We love you all!!!

He's Here!!!

My water broke (a little bit) at 3:03am on June 29th. I went into the hospital and I was not having contractions but I was in labor so they had to give me petocin to get the contractions here!!! OMG that hurt!!! Once the epidural kicked in things were great!!! So about 21 hours labor at 12:17am on the 30th he was born!!! Here he is 8lbs and 20 1/2 inches!!! He is the sweetest thing you have ever seen!!! He has done really good at home sleeping about every 2 hours then getting up to feed so I guess 4 hours of sleep a night has been good. He is a really good breast feeder so I am really excited about doing that!!!
Daddy is now sick a day after we got home. Don't really think it is the flu but could just be a cold with some sleep deprevation tied into it. So now I have 2 babies to take care of. Eddie is a great father and I cannot wait to see these 2 bond together as father and son!!!

Thanks to everyone that shared this special day with me and to everyone that came by to see us. We would not have been able to do it by ourselves!!! We love you all and cannot wait to watch him grow with all of his "FAMILY"!!!
