Getting Excited

So the Morgan family is getting really excited about our upcoming event in April!!! Uncle Bub and Aunt Nicole are getting married and it has creeped up on us so fast!!! It just seems like the other day Adam was calling me saying they were engaged!!! Well, since Eddie and I have lost weight... We have nothing to wear so we took some of our income tax money and bought some new clothes... Kind of like a prize for being the "biggest loser". Well Eddie is the biggest loser but I am not far behind. I have about 12 more pounds to go and then I am done. I am not meant to be extremly small!!! Anyways, we are getting really excited about April 3rd and getting to see our family and friends come together for such a great day!!!

Prayer Request

So I read Courtney Hubbard’s Caringbridge every day, including others, but today she has requested to lift your thoughts and prayers with a family from Houston. Their daughter is battling Neuroblastoma as is losing the battle quickly. As I was reading her page, I ran into a paragraph that her mother wrote about her 2 year old daughter:

Towards the end of a pregnancy, a mother will wake up to go to the bathroom every few hours. I think this is the body’s way of preparing you for a newborn and the sleepless nights that come along with it. Layla now spends most of her days sleeping. 30-45 minutes after she wakes up, she is ready to lay down and sleep again. Is this God’s way of preparing me for all the quiet time that is coming soon? The house is quiet. I am able to go through the motions of laundry, dishes, cooking and picking up without interruptions. But I WANT interruptions. I WANT Layla to be under my feet asking for cookies. I WANT to hear her playing with her toys. I WANT to take 45 minutes to unload the dishwasher because she keeps trying to help. For every time I uttered the words “I just can’t get anything done with these kids under my feet all day” I am eternally regretful. The days that I looked forward to naptime so I could get a grocery list made, or finally fold all the piles of laundry…I regret those days too. If I could do it all again, I’d enjoy EVERY SINGLE WAKING MOMENT I had with her. I would never wish for her to sit still or take a nap or go to bed early. I would never look forward to the days when she could sit through an entire episode of Dora silently. I would treasure every second with her.
I will never again complain about having to wake up with Fisher in the middle of the night or the times where he is fussy and wants me to hold him all day!!! I cannot even imagine hearing news like this about my baby boy!!! Please everyone lift this family up in your prayers tonight as Layla Grace returns home to her God. Please kiss your babies tonight and appreciate every second that you have with them!!!

Another Tooth

So Fisher is finally feeling better!!! He sounds better and is back to his normal smiley self!!! Well, mom and I went to go get him some shoes today because we were having a hard time trying to find shoes to fit his foot. We found some New Balance and some Sperry's. He started to smile at the shoe place and I saw his other tooth on the bottom poking through!!! He has not changed disposition so I was pretty shocked to see it!!!

So Fisher is feeling like his old self again!!! Thank goodness because it has been rough!!! I started to get the crud and thanks to Crystal... I am feeling better!!! We have had a crazy weekend!!! First, I had to work both Friday and Saturday until 8pm so Eddie got to spend some father son time with Fisher. They went to Preston's birthday party which they said was a blast. Poor little man was so worn out that he took a 2 hour nap!!! Pyper has been sick with Fifths disease... so we have not been able to hang out with the neighbors this weekend... We hope that you get better soon Pyper!!! We are just hanging out at the house today... Fisher and I have a birthday party for one of the girls that I work with. Her baby is turning one!!! Mardi Gras... Hospital Style

So Fisher had his first hospital stay this week. I took him to the doctor on Monday and they doctor gave him 2 breathing treatments and he was still wheezing. So here we are in the hospital from Monday - Wednesday afternoon. He got so bored so we strolled him around the floor once he got his IV out!!! Watching your child go through that is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do!!! Shown above are the breathing machine, Eddie strolling Fisher down the hallway, Fisher playing with his balloon that grandma brought him and daddy and Fisher with their Mardi Gras beads from Grammy!!! We had visitors from The Carrolls, Beth, Papa and BeBe, Grammy, and Grandma. Thank you all for you prayers and support!!! We are finally home and you can just tell that Fisher is doing better because he is at home!!! When I brought Fisher into the house he smiled at Lola... He missed his BIG sister!!! I will update later on in the week on his progress after his doctor's appointment in the morning!!!

Finally a Tooth!!!

We have been battling Fisher getting a tooth and it is finally coming in!!! I will show pictures when it comes in all the way. He was so fussy yesterday and he is still not wanting to eat a whole lot!!! He is also battling a cold as well so the fussiness has just began. He is doing much better today so hopefully he is feeling better!!!

Heartbreaker!!!

Grammy bought him this Mickey mouse Shirt that says Little Heartbreaker... We decided it would be a perfect day to wear this since it is Valentine's Day!!!

Beautiful Day...

Fisher just loves to be outside so we brought him riding in the car that Aunt Lisa brought for him and he went in his swing for a while!!!

NFL Champs!!!

We had way too much food!!!
The kids loved to play with each other!!!

The adults had fun too!!! Still cannot believe that the Saints are the NFL champs!!!

Happy Birthday Lex!!!

Can you believe that Little Miss Lexie Ann Dale is one??? She had the cutest cupcake party!!! The kids got to make their own cupcakes and they had a bounce house!!! It was tons of fun... Fisher fell asleep because he had so much fun!!!

Big Boy Swing

We got Fisher a big boy swing for outside since he loves to be outdoors!!! As you can tell he is enjoying it... If it would ever warm up it would be so much better for him!!!

Feeling a little blue!!!

So Fisher has cradle cap and the doctor said to just get some Selsun Blue and put it on his hair... How funny does he look!!! It is still not gone away but at least he gets a longer time in the bathtub!!!
