11 Months already

Kindergarten here I come!!

Once again I am a week behind!  2 Weekends ago the whole Brown Road crew plus some other friends went to Horn Island.  The kids had the best time and so did we!  I'm seeing a lot of that this summer! 
Nolan turned 11 months on the 26th!  Cannot believe my baby is going to be a year in less than a month!  It is so sad! 
On another note... Fisher will be 5!!!  Cannot believe that either!  We missed out on professional pictures for his class while we were in Orange Beach so they let us borrow a cap and gown so we could take pictures.  I think they turned out cute.  Fisher is going to Kindergarten and Pyper is going to 1st grade!  We are going to blink and they will be graduating!

So much to post!!!  Sorry I have gotten behind.  I have been on so many vacations and trying to keep up with everything else! 

Let's start with the Bachelorette Cruise!  WOW... is all I can say!  What a wonderful vacation that was well needed and some great girl time!  I had the best time with everyone and we are so happy for Amber!  Lots of sun, beer & laughs!  We took an excursion to this private island with free drinks & food!  It was the most beautiful place!  But back to reality!!!

Fisher started Soccer while we were on the cruise so I missed his first game but he LOVES it!  He is pretty good at it too!  Scoring lots of goals... 2 this past Monday!  He just needs to be more aggressive!  He will get there! 

We just got back from our Mother's Day Weekend in Orange Beach! (Annual Trip)  It was mostly overcast with a little rain Saturday morning but a great weekend overall!  Nolan LOVES the water and the beach!  We took him to the island the Sunday before we left so we knew he liked the sand...pic above!  I had a great Mother's Day and a wonderful 6th Anniversary with my handsome husband!  We went to eat at Louisiana Laniappe and it was divine!  Looking forward to next year! 

The boys birthdays are coming up soon so I am trying to plan for that!  Promise to keep up with the blog!!!

We had a wonderful beautiful weekend!!!  Tons of Sunshine and great friends.  Mom & Big D went on a cruise so we had an early Easter for the kiddos at their house.  Easter Bunny will still visit on Sunday as planned at our house... Pics to come later!  Sunday we got crawfish, cold beer and great company!  The kids love to play together and Nolan is loving being outside!  Thanks goodness for that because we are outdoor people!  The weather got really nasty on Monday night though!  We believe that a tornado was in the area.  It knocked down the basketball goal and threw the Carroll's trampoline across the yard!  Fisher is getting so big and very smart!  His personality is really coming out and I love the "clown" he is... Always looking to make someone laugh!  Nolan is still not crawling... He is trying though!  I think little by little he will get it... Just a lazy, laidback kiddo!  I changed my car tag when it was up the end of March.  I think it is appropriate for me!  LOVE it!!!  One week until my vacation starts!  Headed on a cruise with Amber & Crystal and her family for her bachelorette party!  Mexico here we come!  I'm in need of one!  Pictures to come from that too!!!

So much to post... This new job has me busy, busy!  Nolan is 9 months old as of March 26th!  Cannot believe it is going by so fast!  Eddie and the guys went this past weekend for Jason's bachelor party to Cozumel!  I cannot wait to go... April 24th cannot come quick enough!  This mommy needs a break from it all!  While the guys were gone... The girls went out on the town!  It was a fun night for all! 
Nolan cut 4 teeth this past month!  Man was that an experience!  So we have been feeding him more people food and he gets mad when we eat in front of him and he does not get any!  Eddie has to hide in the mornings to eat breakfast!  Slowly buying for the boys birthday party!  That will be here before we know it! :(

It's that type of weather... For Crawfish, Boating & Walks outside!  We REALLY enjoyed the weather this weekend. We took Nolan for his first boat ride last weekend(which was still a little cold but worth it)!  We got crawfish on Sunday ($4.99 a lb!!!) and played bachie ball and hung outside all day!  It was so nice and it's nice to have some sun on our skin!

Yea... I promised that I would not get behind on blogging just because my life got busy... Well starting a brand new job that requires lots of time has stopped me in my tracks!  Cannot believe that it will be March tomorrow!  SO much has happened in the past couple of weeks.  Nolan is now 8 months as of Wednesday.  He is getting so big and loves to eat... Man that kid can eat!  Fisher is doing good and learning everything is brain can retain.  Cannot believe that my baby will be in Kindergarten next year! 

 

It snowed at the end of January!!!  Well it was a little sleet/snow mix but it was thick enough to stick and be snow.  Fisher loved playing it... Nolan not so much! 

We are still in the midst of Mardi Gras... Fat Tuesday is this coming up Tuesday.  We have the OS night parade tonight.  It's one of my favorites! 

 

Going to try and keep up with the blogging every week like I used to!  Everyone is doing great and I hope that Nolan gets in teeth soon!  Poor baby is miserable and so are we!

Sorry...

It has been so long since I have posted.  I started a new job at the Hard Rock being a Operations Analyst and I have been SUPER busy and working long hours to keep up...

Not a whole lot has been going on.  The Morgan Family was super sick last week... I had the flu, the boys had bronchitis and Nolan had bronchitis and ear infections!  So glad that is over with.

My ball was this weekend too so I have been trying to get ready for that!

Guess what... We live in the South and we MIGHT get snow tomorrow.  I'm super excited for Fisher.  Too bad I will be at work. Hoping they let me off early!  Maybe Mom will get some picture of him!

I promise to come back next week and show more pictures and such!

January 6...Colds, Chilly & Football!!!

I don't have any pictures to post this week... Sorry!  Just been busy with the sick boys this weekend.  They all have cold, even Eddie!  Friday night we just hung out at the house and I cooked Crab & Corn Bisque for Eddie since he was not feeling well.  We watched football ALL weekend long and get to watch it again tonight for the BCS championship!  Really quiet weekend all in all.

We went to the doctor with Nolan on Monday thinking that he had an ear infection, he has been crabby which is not like him!  No infection but they did do a CT scan on his head because of the "flat" spot on the side of his head it is called Plagiocephaly.  Once the CT scan was done they referred us to Children's Hospital in New Orleans to get it checked on. We should hear back from them by Wednesday and make an appointment.  We will know more on what it wrong and how we can fix it once we talk to them!  More to come on that story!!!

Keep us/Nolan in your prayers this week that nothing serious has to be done to correct this!  He is such a happy baby!

We had a wonderful Christmas!  We were able to get in everyone's house and time to rest!  I took off Wed - Sunday so going back to work for me was not so much fun!  Fisher got a 4 wheeler from us that we gave to him the day after Christmas... He had too many toys as it is!  We love spending time with family and friends!  NYE pictures will be coming next Monday!  I have them... Just have not uploaded anything yet!

Sorry for the late post... Eddie and I went to a Christmas party Saturday and got the Stomach Virus along with 25 other people!!!  It's really contagious and very horrible!  So we have been down for a couple of days.  Fisher's last Christmas Play at school was last week.  He wanted to be a donkey so that is what he was!  He made a cute one too!  He did such a good job! This weekend was pretty laid back.  We have been hanging out and relaxing.  Sunday afternoon we were able to get out and play outside even though it was so cold!  Last night mom brought the boys to the Hard Rock party to meet Santa.  I was taking all of the pictures for the "Santa" pictures so I could not be there with them the whole time!  It was the Polar Express theme!  Super Cute!  Anyways, due to other illnesses in our group the kid's party was cancelled so all in all it will be a quiet weekend... then starts Christmas week!  Lots of pictures to come for that!!!
