1 Month Updates - Nolan

Nolan has been doing great!  He love bathtime like Fisher did!  Big brother likes to help all the time so we let him!  Nolan is sleeping all night... Waking around 1 but then goes back to bed within the hour.  Really good sleeper!  He is getting rolls on his legs already!  He stays awake about 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours before bedtime.  I think he has this night and day thing figured out!  We go back to the doctor on Friday so I will let you guys know how much he has grown!  He still has his really blonde hair and his eyes are getting more blue by the day like Papa!  We will see if he keeps them!

Update on Nolan... Week 1

It has been so nice to have Nolan home and in our own element!  He is adjusting well and sleeping good now!  My decision to not breast feed this time has been the best yet.  I am 100% for my boys!  Not crabby and fully alert!  Last night he slept almost 4 hours straight!  He is just such a "chill" baby.  Only cries when he is hungry or his belly is hurting with gas!  Cannot wait to watch him grow up... Just not so quick!  His 1 week check up went good.  When he left the hospital he was 7lbs 2oz.  He gained 7oz in a week.  He is now 1oz bigger than when he was born.  Doctor said everything looked good.  He has a small touch of jaundice but nothing to be concerned about and the doc just said to keep him outside when it is sunny for about 15 min a day!

 Who is a big brother??? Fisher Ray is... He is so excited to have Nolan around.  He wants to hold him all the time and kisses him constantly!  He is always wanting to help!  Nolan looks just like he did when he was born except for the blonde hair! 

 Nolan Douglas Morgan made his arrival on June 26, 2013 at 2:20pm.  He was 7lbs 8oz and 20 inches long!  Delivery went so smooth!  Cannot believe he is here and such a healthy boy! 

Dixie, CoCo & Bub were here to visit with us while Nolan was born.  It was so nice to hang out with Family!  Dixie turned 1 on July 6th.  Cannot believe it has already been a year! 

NST and Checkup

Went in for the Non Stress Test and check up for the Cholestasis.  NST went good and doctor seems to think everything will be good.  He is going to take him on the 24th if he does not come on his own or if the tests seem to think that he needs to come earlier.  He talked with a USA doctor about the cholestasis and the USA doctor thinks everything will be just fine.  We go back on Monday so I will update more then!  Keep the prayers coming!

Choleostasis of Pregnancy

So... Doctor Sams calls me yesterday around 5:30pm and tells me that I am the 1 in 1000 pregnant person to get this.  It has to deal with your liver and your bile ducts being blocked.  It can be very harmful to the baby and I.  Dr Sams said we have to deliver before 38 weeks which is June 26th. We go in tomorrow and every other day to do a stress test to make sure that Nolan is good.  They will also test my blood those days to make sure that my liver and bilirubin has not increased.  I will know lots more tomorrow but I wanted to share.  We are just hoping for a healthy baby boy with strong lungs.  Fisher came around 37 1/2 weeks and he had strong lungs so we are hoping to be able to hold out until then.  37 weeks would put Nolan being born on Eddie's birthday.  We will see! 

36 week checkup

Nolan is still hanging in there!  Woo Hoo!  Still dialated 1cm but I have dropped since last week!  I have been itching everywhere like crazy but he thinks it is just a pregnancy allergy.  He is testing me for some weird thing that he does not think I have but just to make sure because it can be harmful to Nolan.  Everything looks good and I only gained 1lb which is a total of 11lbs!  I think I did good with that!  Next week will be Eddie's birthday when we go back.  He is going to measure him and make sure that we are still good for July 1!!!  Until then!!! 

Doctor gave me some meds for the itching so I'm hoping they will subside because of that!

Fisher's 4th Birthday Party!!!

Little man's Birthday Party was a hit!  He had a "Firetruck" Party with a REAL firetruck thanks to Big D and Mr. Josh!  All the kids had a good time playing on it and they even went for a ride!  Glad that we celebrated his party early because I am getting to the point of almost being miserable!  We will have another small family birthday party when Dixie gets here!  Cannot believe my little man is not so little anymore. 

35 weeks and progressing!!!

We are super excited that we are making progress!  I am 1cm dialated but still not extremely low.  We set a date for July 1 to induce if he has not made his apperance by then.  Everything looks good and he said that the pains are just going to stay until I deliever!  UGGGHHH!!!  All I can keep thinking is that I will have a healthy little boy! (Or Maybe big!!!) We go back in a week so I will keep everyone updated!!! 

Hard day and Night...

So it's gonna be a LONG 4 weeks!  I have been feeling contractions, ligament pain and pains I cannot even begin to describe... They say it's because he is so low and pressing on my hips and groin area...

We had Pyper's birthday party this weekend and it was all I could do to sit around and hang out in the hot weather.  We are having Fisher's birthday party this weekend so we don't have to worry if Nolan is going to come early or not!  We are going to do a Fireman party with a real fire truck and sprinklers and stuff.  Cannot wait to celebrate!  Cannot believe he will be 4 at the end of the month! :(  Where did my little boy go? 

We will celebrate his birthday with his cousin when they arrive at the end of the month too!  Cannot believe that Dixie will be turning 1!!! 

We go back to the doctor on the 5th so we will update with any new news then!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great Memorial Day weekend... Eddie and Fisher went to go visit Paw Paw in Brookhaven Saturday and came back Sunday night.  They had a good time.  Mom and I worked on getting Nolan's room finished and getting the "final" things that I need just in case he makes his apperance early!  Yesterday we bought a blowup pool and went for a dip!  Fisher and I LOVED being in the water all day... which makes for a very good night sleep.  Until I could not get comfortable.  I feel that he has dropped and that he is closer to being here.  We go back to the doctor on the 5th so we will see what changes have been made if any then!  We will also talk to the doctor about taking him on the 30th if he does not come before that!
