Update on Doug... September 21

So I went to visit Doug this past Saturday - Today. The trip was awesome and it was a great vacation to be able to get away and visit with my aunt and uncles at the same time! We got to go to treatment with him on Monday and it is really neat just how fast it takes for radiation. Doug is doing great and is still working out every morning! He said that sometimes he will wear himself out a little but once he eats then he is fine! Things are going good and the Doctor is very optimistic. They will have 11 treatments to go and they will be coming home for a couple of weeks until the next MRI. He started his cognitive therapy and speech therapy today so hopefully that will help some with his site and memory. I know that they are ready to get home and relax without having to go to treatments everyday. Please keep the prayers coming. The road will be long but Doug is ready to run that road to the ground!!!

Our Trip to Houston

Crystal and I started our vacation with Red Bulls and Vodka!!! She knew how to keep me calm during the flight!

We had lots of fun playing the Wii, golfing and just hanging out with each other!

We went to the Hard Rock in Houston. It was really nice and not to mention the 50% discount was great!

Here are some pictures of Doug's treatment and his lap pool that he works out in every morning. He is very healthy and is doing very well! He looks great and is doing awesome! 11 more treatments to go and they will be home!!!
