Mornings with Dad

I get up every morning around 6:30 and get Fisher dressed to hang out with dad. They normally watch TV as they are doing in the picture until I get ready. It gives them time to bond and time for me to get ready.

Aunt Nicole

My Aunt Nicole came to see me on Sunday!!! She came in town for her grandma's birthday party and her sister - in - law's baby shower. Fisher was so happy to see her. She even got to feed him!!! We miss you guys already!!!

2 Month Checkup

2 Months Old... Eating Cereal!!!

Fisher had his 2 month checkup on Monday. He weighs 14lbs even and is 24 1/4 inches long. Doctor said he is healthy and said to try and start cereal with him since he is eating so much now. So we had to show you some pictures. I have also uploaded video so you can see how funny he is eating!!! He is starting to get the hang of it a little. He loves for Daddy to feed him because he makes noises. Our little man is growing so fast!!!

New Use for a High Chair...

We found a new use for the high chair!!! Fisher loves to be up and looking around so I decided that putting him in the highchair reclined would work for him. He loves it because he is up off the ground and he can see what we are doing. Plus he is at eye level with Lola, who loves to go up to him and kiss him!!! We go for his 2 month appointment tomorrow so we will update with more info soon...He gets his shots also... Sad!!!

Kickin' up a Storm

So I wanted to show you video of Fisher kicking his legs. I think that he thinks he is walking!!! He loves to move around and loves to be up doing something different all the time. Very curious little boy!!! Can be very busy but it is worth it to see him happy. I got binded today and it is the worst feeling ever. I was hurting so bad last night!!! Being binded actually makes me feel a little better but not much. I can actually hold Fisher and rock him to sleep now though!!! Just wanted to share with you and I will share more video from now on when he does something fun!!!

New Beginnings...

So Fisher started his first day at the babysitters Monday and I started back work...ughhh!!! It is a good start for both of us and it has made me appreciate my time with him a lot more. He smiles every time I pick him up now and I love it!!! Well, started back to work and have made the decision to stop breastfeeding. My job is very busy and I just don't have the time to pump. They have added more work since I have been gone so I had to make the decision. I LOVED to breastfeed!!! I loved the bond that I had with him that only I could share with him. I have cried about it but there is not really anything I can do. He has been taking good to the formula so I think Friday will be his last day of any type of breastmilk. I am going to get bonded tomorrow morning at the doctor's office so I can keep it like that for 2 days.

Sick...

I know this is not a "sick" picture but I had to put some kind of picture on there and it was too cute to pass up. Uncle Bub sent this outfit. Anyways, Fisher has been snotty for the past couple of days and yesterday he just slept all day. We went to Walmart and got him a humidifier and some nose stuff. I took his temp but it never got to 100 for us to give him meds. He seems to be feeling better today!!!
