Day at the Park

So we went to the park today with Jenny and Grayson. While we were there we ran into Mrs. Emma Kate and Fairley. Fairley just loved Fisher as you can see!!!
It was great to see you guys!!!

Fisher cannot wait to play on the slide with his friend Gray!!! We thought it would be good to get the kids out of the house for a little while.

Loves the Bath

I just had to share this picture with everyone. Fisher just kept smiling in the bathtub last night. Eddie even had time to go get the camera!!! We love our little man!!!

Bedtime Routine

We are trying to get Fisher into a bedtime routine because he has not been sleeping these past couple of nights so we start out by keeping him up as much as possible during the day like Tummy Time. Then,
We give him a bath. He loves taking baths so we decided that we would do it almost every night so he knows bathtime means bedtime is close!!!

Look at my big man in the tub!!! We had to retire the newborn sling because he got to big for it. So now he is a big boy with his bottom half in the water. He loves it!!!

Then, we give him a massage with lotion. I have a lotion warmer so he loves to get lotion put on him. Then we get him in his sleepers. We are now fitting into 6 month sleepers because he is so long that his legs will not fit into 3 month anymore. After he gets dressed we give him his one formula bottle and then we rock him to sleep. We start this routine around 8 to 8:30 so he will be in bed by 9 or 9:30. We tried it last night and it will need some training but I think that he will catch onto it. Just wanted to share pics!!!

Tummy Time

Just wanted to show you how Fisher does Tummy Time!!! He can throw his head back and everything. We are still working on lifting himself up. Lola just kept looking at him. They were doing Tummy Time together.

First Real Smile!!!

So we have had a couple of smiles where he just smiles at nothing but last night when we were giving little man a bath he smiled 3 times at Eddie and I. I wish that I had my camera nearby but I am sure that we will see those smiles again. We have had a good day today so hopefully everything is going good now. The doctor said that it is just gas and told us to change up how we give him the mylacone. My uncle doug and aunt peggy are in town and are going to come see Fisher tomorrow morning so I am excited about seeing them!!! They are the ones that travel on the boat in the BVI's and now they are stationed in the Bahamas!!! What a tough life huh? Anyways they are in town until October so we will have some good times!!! My brother's fiance is having her tonsils taken out on Tuesday so please pray that everything goes well. She is really nervous!!! I will post more pictures this weekend when we get to take more!!!

First X-ray!!!

So we went to the doctor this morning because Fisher has been really fussy and screaming because he tries to use the bathroom and nothing comes out. He will go 12 hours or more without using the bathroom so we had to go see the doc. Well, he ordered a x-ray to make sure that his digestive system was working all right and to make sure he does not have "double bubble gut". I really did not get into everything with the doctor but he just said that it is a really gassy baby that could lead to major problems if he does have it. We will know something tomorrow so I will update everyone when we find out. He did really good at the hospital and he has been fairly good today. He said that it is not colic because colic will start and end about the same time everyday. We have been giving him a bottle every night to give me a little bit of a break and so we had to change his formula to Gentlease instead of the regular stuff from the hospital. BeBe came and sat with him today while I got some things done around the house and got a bath. He pooped twice while she was here so hopefully his tummy will not hurt too bad tonight and he will not be really fussy!!! We will keep everyone posted as we find out things. Hopefully it is just the formula doing it and not anything major!!!

Sloppy Kisser!!!

So just wanted to update you guys with a picture and a cute story. I went to Carter's yesterday for the Tax Free day and bought him some cute outfits for the wintertime and also bought this outfit for him to wear now. It says "I'm a Sloppy Kisser". I am nursing him so he roots pretty good when he is hungry. Well, at night time he is so tired and will hardly open his eyes to eat or to see what he is doing. I will go to burp him on my shoulder and he will move over to my face and "kiss" me!!! It is the cutest thing in the whole world and that is why this outfit fits him!!! We also got this outfit in 6 months so he can continue to wear it.
He no longer can fit into 0-3 month clothes. Right now he is in 3-6 month clothes. He is getting bigger by the second as you can see in the picture. This picture was taken this morning. His belly aches have gotten better. Our friend and NP Tabby said to add pear juice to his bottle when we give him one at night and it should help his stomach. It really has helped him!!!
Eddie and I went out on our 3rd "Outing" last night to Applebee's for dinner. We decided that once a week we would do something together as a couple and let the grandparents watch him for a couple of hours. We are enjoying every minute of being parents!!! Stay in Touch for more updates to come!!!!
